Summer Hydration With Clinique’s Moisture Surge

Featuring Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief | Moisture Surge Face Spray Thirst Relief | All About Eyes De-Puffing Eye Massage

We all love a little (large) shop in duty free, you have to make the most of it right?! And we especially love a duty free exclusive! I bought these three products as part of a moisturising set, before hopping on a plane to Italy. It caught my eye almost immediately and once I’d picked it up, I couldn’t put it down – I just had to buy it! I was looking for a moisturiser specifically for the eye area and was attracted to this set by the rollerball eye gel.

Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief Moisturiser
The moisturiser is described as offering immediate moisture, while refreshing the skin and soothing any dry skin – it really does do just that! Not only does it give my skin immediate moisture but it also leaves my skin feeling hydrated throughout the day too. It’s also a gel moisturiser, which is why I’ve chosen to use it as my summer moisturiser. In my opinion, it’s lightweight, gel texture is more suitable for warmer, summer weather, rather than the cream based, slightly heavier moisturiser that I use in winter.

As well as a moisturiser, I was surprised to read that it can also be used a face mask! Or a “moisture mask” as Clinique like to call it. All you need to do is apply a layer of the moisturiser to your face, leave for around 5 minutes and wash off – as simple as that! It gives your face an extra boost of moisture and leaves your skin feels silky soft and supple!

Moisture Surge Face Spray Thirst Relief
This spray on moisturiser offers a quick and easy form of replenishment for the skin. It’s the perfect product to travel with! It slips into your handbag without taking up too much space and provides you with that much needed rehydration, especially after a long and tiring day. This handy spray is a lot quicker and easier for on the go. It’s also more hygienic, as there’s no need to apply with your hands, just a couple of sprays and you’re good to go! As well as boosting hydration, it helps in making you feel a bit more refreshed too. If you’re used to train/tube journeys, you’ll know what I mean..

All About Eyes De-Puffing Eye Massage
The last of the three products is moisturiser in rollerball form, which I love the idea of! The rollerball makes the product inside even more cooling and refreshing, and it also offers a massaging effect. It’s a great little product for helping you feel more alert and awake, especially for those early mornings, when the last thing you want to do is get out of bed! Sadly, we’ve all been there before!

The rollerball is said to help “de-puff” the under eye area and help reduce the appearance of dark circles. I don’t tend to get puffy under eyes often but the couple of times I have, the product has helped in reducing them – I think it’s the cooling feeling of the product that really helps. I do however get quite bad dark circles. So far, I haven’t seen a dramatic improvement with them after use, but it does help reduce them a bit. That aside, I really like this product, as it does leaves my under eye feeling very refreshed! It’s especially helpful for when I get migraines, just in helping me feel a bit better with eye pain.

Overall, I’m really impressed with this set, especially for £24.99!! Next on my Clinique wish list is their Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm makeup remover. I’ve heard an uncountable amount of positive comments about the product, as well as watching a few videos that show just how effective it is!

What’s your fave Clinique product?
Hope you enjoyed.. X
